Abstract

 INTRODUZIONE: Lo scopo di questa revisione sistematica con meta-analisi è quello di riportare le strategie di coping e la resilienza psicologica dei professionisti sanitari durante la pandemia da COVID-19 in Italia. 


METODO: La revisione sistematica della letteratura è stata condotta analizzando cinque database e aderisce alle linee guida PRISMA. Il protocollo è stato registrato su PROSPERO (CRD42021235781). I dati sono stati aggregati con meta-analisi. Quando non è stato possibile effettuare la metanalisi è stato utilizzato un approccio narrativo. 


RISULTATI: ll processo di screening ha identificato 21 studi da un pool iniziale di 923 come rilevanti per questa revisione sistematica. Gli studi inclusi sono stati sintetizzati in due categorie: resilienza psicologica e strategie di coping, e sintomatologia e conseguenze relative al trauma da COVID-19. A causa dell’eterogeneità delle misurazioni e dei dati insufficienti, i risultati relativi al costrutto strategie di coping sono stati presentati in forma narrativa. 


CONCLUSIONI: La resilienza psicologica e le strategie di coping sono risultate rilevanti nel contrastare il distress asso-ciato a pandemia da COVID-19 e al successivo eventuale trauma. Questa revisione sistematica suggerisce di implementare l’attivazione di fattori protettivi psicologici e ad eseguire future ricerche riguardo le effettive associazioni dei fattori rilevati nel tempo.
