Abstract

RIASSUNTO

ll carico di lavoro infermieristico si sta sviluppando a causa delle innumerevoli richieste, per i cambiamenti demografici e tecnologici, nonché per i progressi dei trattamenti medici. Lo scopo di tale lavoro di ricerca è comprendere quali metodologie esistono oggi nei vari Paesi del mondo per quantificare il fabbisogno di personale infermieristico. I risultati ottenuti evidenziano che la scelta della metodologia di rilevazione del carico di lavoro infermieristico è fortemente correlata alla politica di economia sanitaria adottata in ciascun Paese ed alla tipologia di assistenza da erogare, in relazione all'istituto di ricovero considerato.

ABSTRACT

Due to demographic and technological changes , medical progress and increased demand, nursing work-loads are changing. The aim of this study is to observe which methods exist in other countries to assess the need for nursing staff. The results obtained show that the choice of the method for evaluating nursing requirements is strongly influenced by the health economy policy adopted in each single country and by the type of care erogated by the health institution considered .
